Category B Driver Jobs Switzerland
Looking for Category B driver jobs in Switzerland? This page covers self-employed courier work. You use a suitable own vehicle. You check each trip before you agree.
What matters for Category B drivers
Category B fits many trips with a light vehicle. The exact job still matters. The vehicle and load must fit. The route must fit as well.
Before a trip, check the vehicle and the real load size. A Category B licence does not make every large load suitable for a car. Check the weight and the space you have. Then read the route and time details. Clear facts help you plan a safe trip as a self-employed driver. Professional transport planning includes vehicle documentation, route restrictions, loading limits, and individual business duties. Before any application, compare the permitted vehicle class with the actual transport task. Appropriate equipment and accurate business details can support a reliable assessment. Self-employed work also requires independent cost planning, insurance checks, and timely communication about important changes. Insurance requirements and correct documentation also matter when transport needs change.
You work for your own firm or as self-employed. This is not a fixed staff job. You choose your area. You also choose your free time.
Before you agree, you see start and end. The day and time are clear too. The load is shown in brief. You then make your own choice.
Keep the vehicle facts up to date. This helps with each check. Take only trips that suit your set-up.
Swiss users search with several job terms. These include chauffeur, driver jobs and courier driver. The links below keep the terms apart.
There are pages for cantons and regions. Use them to find your area. This gives you a direct local path.
Read the rules before you apply. Check your vehicle and licence. Keep your work area ready too.
